Located on a quiet residential street that has been undergoing a redevelopment over the last two years, this three story home was designed with a strong desire to interweave the inside and the outside of the home. There are multiple points to access the outdoors and various decks and balconies from which to sit and enjoy the landscaping of the site. A large balcony at the front of the house creates a covered entry to the house while providing a wonderful outdoor sitting area in the trees for the library on the second floor.
The house is organized around a central court that opens up the middle of the house through the three floors and providing space for the main stair as it weaves its way up through the floors. All of the spaces open onto this court area allowing views through the house and the possibility of interaction with the different members of the family. The top floor features the master suite with its own private deck and a wonderful bathroom at the rear of the house with views of the city skyline.
